KarmaFest České Budějovice 2026
KarmaFest 2026: Reflections of Karma, Imodium and Post-it prove that rock is alive.
KarmaFest 2026 is the inaugural edition of a new club festival dedicated to contemporary rock and guitar music. Born from the initiative of the international rock supergroup Reflections of Karma, it responds to the long-standing shortage of live rock venues in the club scene. The festival is designed as an intimate indoor event built on close contact between bands and audience, authentic atmosphere, and the energy that only live performance can create.
Reflections of Karma ranks among the most prominent new names on the Czech rock scene in recent years. The band features vocalist Travis O'Neill (ex-Pipes and Pints), guitarist Maťo Mišík (ex-Tata Bojs), bassist Josh Stewart (Gaia Mesiah), and drummer Tomáš Hajíček Jr. (Krucipüsk). In autumn 2025, they released their debut album Venom & Velvet, were named Discovery of the Year at the Žebřík Awards, and their first Prague concert sold out completely. The club scene experience and the need to create space for honest, live rock music inspired the creation of KarmaFest.
KarmaFest 2026 will also feature bands Imodium and Post-it. After their comeback in 2023, Imodium returned to the stage in excellent form, confirmed by reviews of their album Horizont and concerts at Forum Karlín and Nové Spirála, where the band around vocalist and producer Thom Fröde performed acoustically. Post-it build on more than two decades of Czech club scene history and, following a lineup expansion, bring a denser and rawer sound.
KarmaFest 2026 will take place as a spring and autumn concert series in clubs across the Czech Republic. In spring, the festival stops in Havlíčkův Brod, Plzeň, Teplice, České Budějovice, and Pardubice; in autumn in Jablonec nad Nisou, Jihlava, Prague, Litomyšl, and Olomouc. Additional dates are being finalized.
Rock music has not disappeared-it just needs a space where it can sound at full volume.
