About the venue: Korunní Fortress

Korunní pevnůstka (Crown Fortress) is a protected heritage site and one of the few surviving parts of Olomouc's original bastion fortifications, built in 1745–1757 on the orders of Empress Maria Theresa. The complex includes a crown rampart with a bastion and two half-bastions, a Baroque powder magazine from 1756, and the remains of an Empire-style guardhouse. Since 2008 it has been managed by the Muzeum Olomoucké pevnosti association, which opened a museum, the interactive science centre Pevnost poznání, and an open-air amphitheatre seating nearly 900 people.

Ben Cristovao, born Ben da Silva Cristóvão on 8 June 1987 in Plzeň, is a Czech singer, rapper and music producer of Angolan-Czech heritage. He gained prominence as a finalist in the Česko-Slovenská SuperStar competition in 2009 and subsequently became a major figure in Czech pop music, earning the Český slavík award in 2016 for the year's most-streamed Czech song "ASIO". He represented the Czech Republic at the Eurovision Song Contest on two occasions: the 2020 contest was cancelled due to the pandemic, and in 2021 he finished in 15th place with "Omaga".
